There’s been so much going on in WAY lately that I haven’t had time to blog anything, but I’ll start with what we’re doing to raise our profile in the media.
We’re trying to get the word out about WAY across the UK, so we’ve asked one of our members, Linsay Black, to do our PR work.
Linsay has a background in PR and has been been beavering away in Edinburgh, finding lots of willing WAY men to talk to the media about us when Father’s Day comes around, on June 21st.
We always get requests from the media for stories about men who are bringing up children alone, after the death of their partner. This year we’re hoping to hit many magazines and newspapers, as well as radio stations across the country. We’ll keep you posted on where we’re spotted!
